What we do

Capital Area Democratic Women promotes the influence and activity of Democratic women in Texas politics and government and works to elect Democrats. Founded in 1988, CADW champions the importance of women in all levels of the political process, from field work and fundraising to running for office and governing. CADW supports Democratic candidates at the local and state levels through its fundraising efforts.
